You demonstrate a strong commitment to clear, effective, and proactive customer communication, with the ability to anticipate client needs before they are explicitly stated. 

 

You are passionate about customer communication and building long-term relationships.  

As an e-commerce professional, you support customers in optimising the performance of their online shops by understanding their current situation and identifying opportunities for improvement.  

 

Your goal is to contribute to your customers’ ongoing success through proactive advice and a strong customer-centric mindset. 

 

  • Commercial Development & Negotiation: You are responsible for the strategic and commercial development of your customer portfolio in the Spanish market. You conduct negotiations independently and professionally, maintaining a clear focus on long-term customer value and business objectives, even in challenging situations. 

  • Cancellation- & Retention-Management: You manage cancellation processes end-to-end, including identifying root causes, engaging at-risk customers, and implementing retention measures. You proactively contact customers with imminent termination dates and work to retain them through targeted solutions. 

  • Proactive account management: You independently manage a defined customer portfolio and support customers throughout the lifecycle, including onboarding, performance optimisation, and the introduction of new products. You develop a deep understanding of your customers’ businesses to drive their long-term success. 

  • Identification of Growth Potential: You analyse your customer portfolio to understand business goals, challenges, and market trends. Based on these insights, you identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling and actively contribute to revenue growth. 

  • Collaboration with Customer Success Management: You work closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure optimal product usage and customer satisfaction. Through this collaborative approach, you maximise retention rates and contract expansion. 

  • Tech- and Mid-Touch: You are responsible for small to medium-sized business customers and adapt your engagement and expansion strategies to their specific operational needs and maturity levels. 

Your profile

  • At least 4 years of experience in sales (hunter profile), portfolio retention, and proactive account management 

  • Strong customer communication skills and the ability to build long-term client relationships 

  • Structured working method combined with a hands-on, results-driven mindset 

  • Basic knowledge of e-commerce, SaaS, or digital services – experience in the sector is strong plus 

  • Spanish at native-speaker level (C2) and proficiency in English (C1) 

  • Confident use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

As a account manager, I support the account management team of the DACH market as a kind of "special force" and work independently on various projects that make the account managers' daily work easier.
