To strengthen our Platform Unit within Product & Engineering, we are looking for a

(Senior) Product Manager Core Services (m/f/d)

(Hybrid in Cologne or remote in Germany / Full-time / Fixed-term contract: 17 months)

Your responsibilities

Own core platform services such as APIs, authentication, authorization, and user/permission management

Execute product strategy for Core Services in a SaaS platform environment and ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across all products

Align roadmaps, dependencies, and strategic decisions with Product Leadership

Analyze technical KPIs (e.g., uptime, system performance) and translate them into business impact

Define and evolve technical standards to enable efficient, consistent product development

Collaborate with Engineering, Data, and Product teams to prioritize platform initiatives

Your profile

Your profile

Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or professional experience in a related field

Proven professional experience as a Product Manager in SaaS or platform environments or similar and experience with KPI-driven product management and data-informed decision-making

Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, and scalable architectures

Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and analytics/monitoring tools

A proactive, solutions-driven personality with strong communication and organizational skills – and a structured hands-on mentality

Business fluent English skills; German is a plus

Employee reviews

As a Senior Product Designer, I work as part of the Advertising Product team. Together, we get to make most of the critical decisions about our products and enjoy plenty of freedom in the way we shape our roadmap.

My daily work never gets boring and always looks different depending on what phase of a project we are working on: in the discovery phase, I take care of the user research and data collection that will inform our decisions. In the conceptual phase, I deliver the user journey and the wireframes before moving to the more final graphic design. Finally, I also drive the user testing rounds or customer interviews to validate our new releases and establish the next UX improvements.

Every step of the way, I can rely on our in-house UX team to help me organise workshops, get feedback or support me with more advanced graphic tasks, such as illustrations and animations. Among the many excellent reasons to join Trusted Shops, the amazing UX team and our great diversity of profiles and colourful personalities would probably be my number one!
