We are looking for a Director GTM Operations to join our dynamic Business Operations Unit. The Director of GTM Operations plays a critical role in driving the successful implementation of the company’s go-to-market strategy and core process ownership. This position requires a strategic thinker who can translate high-level objectives into actionable plans, oversee execution, and ensure alignment across various functions. 

Program management:

  • Ensure the company roadmap is linked to our company strategy – ensuring we priortize the correct initiatives that will drive impact.
  • Lead and manage the overall company project roadmap
  • Keep the senior leadership and wider organization updated on progress and ensure proactive intervention to support projects stay on track periodically.
  • Translate high-level strategic goals into actionable operational plans
  • Ensure an expected level of quality and standard is applied to all initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of go-to-market initiatives (project management).


Core customer process ownership (GTM):

  • Develop and manage the overall core GTM processes to support go-to-market operations; ensuring teams, tools and systems work in harmony (such onboarding, billing, offboarding etc) to best support our customer experience.
  • Ensure that core processes are geared towards customer value that drives retention.
  • Build and continuously improve the operating model to ensure efficient, scalable go-to-market operations aligned with overall business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Ensure all technology initiatives align with strategic goals and enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensure all processes are efficient, compliant, and support the overall operational strategy
  • Secure continuous review and optimization of core processes, to ensure a world class operating model


GTM coordinators

  • Work as in-region support for core strategic projects and initiatives to ensure efficient delivery and effectiveness
  • Ensure core initiatives are being localized and adopted by acting as a center of excellence for field teams
  • Provide a feedback loop to strategy teams to support continuous improvement of our strategy


Team Leadership

  • Lead three small teams of subject-matter experts (professional and senior level)

Your profile

  • 8+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a comparable position
  • Hands-on operational experience is a must.
  • Profound experience of working with an executive leadership team and business partners
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide teams toward achieving objectives.
  • Highly detailed orientated with a strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in managing go-to-market operations
  • Ability to stay composed in complex situations, prioritize key processes, and align teams around core objectives
  • Certifications in business process methodologies such as Six Sigma, 6Star or similar are a plus
  • Experience in creating new systems and optimizing existing processes to enhance efficiency and performance
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to lead complex technical projects effectively
  • Experience in a technology-driven environment, preferably within the SaaS industry
  • Fluent in English (must-have); proficiency in German (significant plus)

Tech Stack Operations

HubSpot: We use HubSpot as the main marketing touchpoint and CRM solution with a focus on (but not exclusively) new business: hosting of website, blog and landing pages as well as newsletters and marketing automation campaigns. As a result, it is synchronised with our CRM system Salesforce and other connected tools to deliver data, mainly on inbound leads. 

Outreach: In order to make our outbound sales process as automated and therefore as efficient as possible, we have integrated Outreach as a state-of-the-art sales engagement CTI solution that is very closely interlinked with our core CRM system. 

Salesforce: Salesforce, as a highly scalable and customisable SaaS solution, is used as our central CRM application. It is tightly integrated with some third-party solutions as well as numerous internal applications. 

Zuora: We use Zuora, one of the industry’s leading subscription management platforms, to have a single point of truth for all contract, billing and payment-related processes.
