We are looking for a Team Lead/Systems Lead Workday (f/m/d) to be the connector between our People Systems team and our internal Stakeholders. Your primary responsibility in this role will be to drive the implementation and further development of Workday across our organisation and ensure that the needs and requirements of our internal Customers are met.
What your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
- You develop the vision and strategy for our Workday, taking into account the needs and requirements of our internal Customers and the available resources.
- Together with your Team, you will create and maintain the Roadmap and communicate it to the Stakeholders.
- You prioritise the Backlog in accordance with the Roadmap and the business requirements.
- You assume technical responsibility for the projects within the framework of the implementation and further development of our Workday
- You are the technical point of contact in the company regarding Workday, coordinate requests from the business units and - if necessary - implement ad-hoc adjustments to the system.
- Together with your Team, you continuously work on improving the structures and work processes for a smooth system administration, including configuration and releases as well as support for our internal Customers.
- In addition, as Team Lead/System Lead Workday (f/m/d), you also have disciplinary responsibility for a small team of Workday experts.
- As a strategic thinker, you balance internal Customer needs with the realities of technology and business constraints.
What your day as a Team Lead/System Lead (f/m/d) might look like:
- You start your day by setting up your mobile work environment - or you set up your desk in the Office.
- Open your individual task manager and get involved in the processes you are currently supporting - from short-term operational to long-term visionary perspectives
- Meet your Team during your daily Meeting and lay the foundation for the day's work together. Maybe you'll look at your Backlog together - or your Kanban Board, or whatever style of agile collaboration your Team prefers.
- Continue with meetings or work sessions designed to understand your business.
- Lunch break! Grab a bite to eat at home or maybe join a few Team Members and Colleagues and explore the Restaurants around the Office?
- More Meetings or work sessions in the afternoon. It is up to you how long and in which constellations and formats you work, but you can be prepared that many people will want a piece of you! So communication and (self-)organisation should be your strengths!
- Luckily, there are regular meetings with your Colleagues and Department Heads that will help you keep up with the overall developments and goals of the Team and the company strategy.
- Still in the Office? How about a drink on the roof terrace before you go home? And remember: we don't believe in working until the middle of the night.
