We are looking for a System Owner (f/m/d) Workday to be the interface between our People Systems Team and our internal stakeholders. Your primary responsibility in this role will be to drive the implementation and evolution of the Workday system across our organisation, ensuring that the needs and requirements of our internal customers are met.
What your role's responsibilities will be:
-
You will develop the vision and strategy for our Workday, taking into account the needs and requirements of our internal customers and available resources.
-
Working with the People Systems team, you will create and maintain the roadmap and communicate it to stakeholders
-
You will prioritise the backlog in line with the roadmap and business requirements.
-
Take technical responsibility for projects related to the implementation and evolution of our Workday.
-
You will be the technical point of contact for Workday within the organisation, coordinating requests from the business and making ad hoc adjustments to the system as required.
-
Together with the People Systems team, you will continuously improve the structures and workflows for smooth system administration, including configuration and releases, as well as support for our internal customers.
-
As a System Owner (f/m/d) Workday, you will also have strategic and operational responsibility for a small team of Workday experts.
-
As a strategic thinker, you will balance the needs of internal customers with the realities of technology and business constraints.
What your day might look like as a System Owner (f/m/d) Workday at our company:
-
Start your day by setting up your workspace, whether it's at home or in the office, and make sure it's just right for a productive day.
-
Open your personal task manager and dive into the various projects you are working on - from the short-term operational to the long-term visionary.
-
Join the team for a daily stand-up to set the course for a day of collaborative teamwork. Maybe you'll look at your backlog together - or your Kanban board, or whatever style of agile collaboration suits the team best.
-
Continue with meetings or work sessions to understand your business.
-
Now it's time for lunch! Enjoy a meal at home with your significant other or explore a nearby restaurant with team members and colleagues.
-
If you're in the office, take the opportunity to grab a snack on Waffle Day or Health Day. Grab a freshly baked waffle or a freshly made smoothie to fuel up for the day ahead.
-
Have more meetings or work sessions in the afternoon. It is up to you how long you work and in what constellations and formats, but you can be prepared for a lot of people wanting a piece of you! So communication and (self-)organisation should be your strengths!
-
Fortunately, there will be regular meetings with your colleagues and line managers to help you keep abreast of the team's overall developments and goals, as well as the company's strategy.
-
Are you in the office today? Then why not spend a refreshing moment on the roof terrace and enjoy a complimentary drink before leaving the office - we value a good work-life balance.
